Finally got to try this place and let me just say it was amazing!! Our server was very friendly and attentive! First we started off with their famous soup dumplings which were delicious!! We also tried the steam pork dumplings and they were so flavorful and beautifully made. For our main course we had the sesame chicken and uptown spicy chicken. Both were very generous portions, we honestly would have been okay with one but we’re glad to try them both! We substituted the steamed rice for our main course with fried rice. Overall this place is beautiful, perfect for date night and the food was absolutely incredible. We will be coming back!

Food: After hearing glowing reviews (through social media and WOM), my partner and I decided to give this place a try. We ordered the Uptown Fried Rice (with shrimp), the Pork & Shrimp Xiao Long Bao, Taiwanese Braised Beef Noodle, and Pan-fried Shrimp Dumpling. The dumplings and fried rice were fine--they had a decent flavor to them. However, the beef noodle soup fell a bit short. The broth tasted like soy sauce more than anything and lacked the richness that I've enjoyed from other beef noodle soups. Service: No complaints. Came for lunch on a Sunday, with no wait for a party of two. However, the food did take a bit to come out of the kitchen. Waiter was attentive. Ambiance: Casual, modern. Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza. P.S. The floor in the men’s restroom was very slippery. Take heed!

Fantastic experience at Uptown Dumpling on a Saturday night. Honestly the most surprising parts of the meal were the amazing uptown chicken fried rice, and the cheesecake! Both were way better than you’d find at most other Chinese restaurants. Everything was delicious, but those were standout. The soup dumplings were what we came for, and they were solid, but honestly I would come back and not order them again. I think the novelty of the jumbo soup dumplings is great, but next time I’d like to try their duck, noodle dishes, and cereal fried shrimp appetizer instead! Oh - the serve wear and the plates, cups, and chopsticks were so elevated! It makes you feel like you’re at a proper sit down Chinese restaurant in Asia (I found that most restaurants in Asia try harder than in the US). I would just suggest adding chopsticks rests to complete the fantasy. The service was 10/10 the bathroom was clean, and I can’t wait to return!

I am two visits in and I have to admit I am very impressed with this place so far. The restaurant itself is just gorgeous and the design is such that they can be completely full and it is not loud, nor do you even feel like it’s crowded. The ambiance stays intimate and the space remains personal at all crowd sizes. This is done through chic divider walls and offset seating. It’s clever actually. The service has always been fantastic both times I have been there. I do have to admit though the service was a bit better at the bar than when we sat in the dining room. Not taking anything away from the dining room service though, it’s just that this place has a very exceptional bartender. I can now officially say I have tried a variety of dumplings, appetizers, and entrees and everything has been exceptionally good!

We visited for the first time and had a great time. The food was really good and the service was awesome. When the staff brought out our food they said we made all the right choices for menu items to try. Duck, soup dumplings, chow mein, fried rice, hot and sour soup, mango walnut prawns, soy glazed tenderloin and cucumber salad. Loved it and we will be back!
